Elida Violins offer this vintage Czech violin which I believe to date from the 1950s or 60s. There are no cracks or open seams. The violin has been beautifully set up by A.
Hutchinson, whom I believe to be Andrew Hutchinson formerly of The Violin Shop in Hoylake (now closed). It does need restringing and most people would want either four adjusters or a wittner type tailpiece. Well, those are included in the price and I will fit them.
Just tell me what you want (and give me a couple of days if it is strings I don't normally keep in stock). Within reason, you can have your choice of strings included in the price. Label reads "Nicolaus Amatus fecit in Cremona 16 -- Made in Czechoslovakia".
This listing is for the violin only. It is a bit darker in reality than it appears in most of these pictures. The final picture shows the colour best. Please note that the bow is not included well, I suppose you can have it if you desperately want it, but it's only a Primavera!
